Catherine Butler

Dr. Catherine Butler is an Associate Professor in Human Geography at the University of Exeter, specializing in societal transitions for equitable and sustainable futures. She is affiliated with the Environment and Sustainability Research Group and serves as Chair of the Royal Geographical Society Energy Geographies Research Group.

Her research focuses on energy poverty, climate change adaptation, environmental justice, and public engagement with energy systems.
