Caterina Fratea

Caterina Fratea is an Associate Professor at the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Verona. She specializes in European Union Law, Migration Law, and Private International Law, with a focus on civil judicial cooperation, EU competition law, and institutional aspects of European integration. Her research explores decision-making processes in contemporary societies and legal products emerging from these processes, particularly in migration, family law, and competition frameworks.

She holds administrative roles including Director of the European Documentation Centre (EDC) and serves on academic boards such as the Faculty Board of the PhD in European and International Law. Her teaching spans courses like European Union Law, European Immigration Law, and International Law for Global Markets. She contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives like the 'Univr Fashion Week' project, linking legal frameworks to industry practices.
