Cassandre Perard

Cassandre Perard is an Associate Professor at the Medical College of Georgia, with dual appointments in the Department of Medicine (Hospital Medicine) and the Department of Family Medicine. She is actively involved in medical education, clinical service, and institutional leadership.

Her research and teaching are focused on telehealth and the social determinants of health, with a strong commitment to advancing equitable access to care through innovative delivery models. She integrates point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and telehealth into medical training and practice.

Her service contributions span multiple levels of governance at MCG, including the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, Strategic Planning Community Workgroup, Promotion Guidelines Workgroup, and Peer Review Committee, reflecting her leadership in academic medicine.

She is certified in telehealth by the American Board of Telemedicine (2021) and holds active medical licensure in Georgia (2023). A native of Haiti, she immigrated to the U.S. after high school and pursued all her higher education and training in the U.S., including residency in Michigan before settling in Georgia.
