Cassandra Falke

Cassandra Falke is a Professor of English Literature at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her research spans English Romanticism, literary theory, and phenomenology, with a focus on intersections between class, education, ethics, and violence in literary narratives.

• Recipient of prestigious awards including a Fulbright Professorship and Distinguished Professor designation for teaching
• Leader of the NOH-HS funded network Interpreting Violence: Narrative, Ethics and Hermeneutics

Her recent publications explore phenomenology of love and reading, wild Romanticism, and global human rights fiction. She also contributes to critical theory and narrative ethics through edited collections and articles.
