Casey O'Callaghan

Casey O'Callaghan is a Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (PNP) Program at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a PhD from Princeton University and specializes in the philosophy of perception, metaphysics, and multisensory integration. His research focuses on auditory perception, speech perception, and the nature of perceptual objects, emphasizing how cross-modal interactions shape understanding of perception. Key works include A Multisensory Philosophy of Perception (2019) and Beyond Vision (2017), exploring non-visual perception and multisensory consciousness.
