Dr. Carter is a Professor in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Human Development at Roanoke College. His research focuses on understanding biases in human judgment and decision-making, exploring how internal and external forces influence social cognition, and examining the psychological mechanisms behind consumer behavior and happiness.
