Carsten Timm

Carsten Timm is a University Professor at the Faculty of Physics, Technische Universitaet Dresden, since 2008. He currently serves as Chairman of the School of Science at TU Dresden (since 2024) and previously held roles including Dean of the Faculty of Physics (2021-2024) and Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas. His academic career spans positions at Universität Hamburg, Indiana University, Freie Universität Berlin, and TU Dresden, with research rooted in theoretical physics.
