Carson Thompson

Carson Thompson serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Nursing at Cumberland University, affiliated with the Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions. Her work involves clinical instruction for nursing students at off-campus clinical sites, with occasional contributions to on-campus skills and simulation laboratories.

Education: B.S.N. from Adams State University (Alamosa, Colorado). During her studies, she minored in Health Care Administration and Spanish, while also competing in collegiate cross country and track.

Her professional experience spans roles in medical-surgical/telemetry units and critical care nursing. She has developed a passion for nursing education through precepting other nurses, focusing on mentorship across diverse experience levels.
