Carrigan Hayes

Carrigan Hayes is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Otterbein University since Fall 2009. She teaches General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry courses while contributing to the Integrative Studies program.

Education:

• B.S. in Chemistry and English, Ohio Northern University (2002)
• Ph.D. in Chemistry, The Ohio State University (2007)

Her research focuses on computational chemistry with applications in physical organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, and biological systems. She also contributes to science writing and editing.
