Dr Caron Carter is a Senior Lecturer in Childhood & Early Childhood Education at Sheffield Hallam University's Department of Education, Childhood and Inclusion. She holds a PhD from Sheffield Hallam (2013) and MA from Sheffield University. Previously, she served as a primary school teacher for 11 years, including roles as Acting Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. Her research focuses on children's friendships, wellbeing, and pandemic impacts, emphasizing participatory methods to amplify children's voices. She leads modules on leadership and research methodologies in the Doctorate in Education program.
