Carolyn Tudor

Carolyn Tudor is a Woodwinds Tutor at the Guildhall Young Artists Taunton (part of Guildhall School of Music & Drama). She holds a BA (Hons) in Music and a PGCE from Southampton University, where she studied under Andrew Knights (oboe) and Keith Davis (voice). With over 20 years of teaching experience, she previously worked for 13 years at Hampshire Music Service, specializing in woodwind, vocal, and piano instruction, as well as conducting youth orchestras and bands. She currently directs the GYAT Orchestra and conducts the UnPhilharmonic Orchestra through The Brewhouse Theatre’s Take Part scheme, fostering inclusive music-making for adults. Carolyn also operates Tone Woodwind tuition, serving primary/secondary schools and adult learners across Somerset. She is deeply involved with Guildhall Young Artists Taunton, where her children also participate.
