Caroline Strobbe

Dr. Caroline Strobbe is a Professor and Director of the French Program at The Citadel's Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, & Cultures. She is affiliated with the School of Humanities & Social Sciences. Her teaching focuses on French language, culture, composition, conversation, literature, and business French, emphasizing learner-centered instruction with authentic sources and technology.

Educational background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. in French Literature from Indiana University Bloomington, a Maîtrise in American History and Civilization from Université Charles de Gaulle (mention très bien), and degrees in Public and Private Law from Université du Droit et de la Santé.
