Caroline Flurey is Associate Professor of Men's Health and Long Term Conditions at University of the West of England's Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences. With PhD and CPsychol status, she researches men's experiences with rheumatic diseases using qualitative methods.
Her work examines:

- Self-management during disease flares
- Help-seeking behavior patterns
- Remission definition from patient perspectives
Flurey serves as Trustee of Men and Boys Coalition and co-chairs OMERACT working groups developing patient-centered outcome measures. She supervises doctoral research on young men with inflammatory arthritis and lupus support systems.
Honored as Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, she teaches health psychology and qualitative methodologies.
