Dr. Caroline Fisher is a Subject Specialist Curation Tutor at Norwich University of the Arts, where she has held roles since 2016, including Curator of the East Gallery. She supports students on the MA Curation course and focuses on bridging art, science, and community engagement through curatorial practice.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art (1996–99)
- MA in Museum Studies from the University of East Anglia (2008)
Research & Practice: Fisher specializes in site-specific art, the intersection of art and medicine, and curating in institutional and unconventional spaces. Her work emphasizes collaboration with national/international artists and organizations, such as British Art Show 8, the Venice Biennale, and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. She has curated exhibitions like Altered (2013), This Bewitching Poison: Alcohol and the Royal College of Physicians (2014), and Mutator VR by William Latham (2016).
