Caroline Davis is a faculty member at The New School's College of Performing Arts, School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. She holds a Ph.D. in Music Cognition and is recognized for integrating science and music in her work. Her research interests span gender equity in music, experimental improvisation, and interdisciplinary performance. Davis has released six albums, collaborated with renowned artists like Lee Konitz and Terry Riley, and received awards including the Jerome Hill and NYFA Fellowships.
