Carolina UGARTE

Carolina UGARTE is an Associate Professor in Soil Science at UniLaSalle, affiliated with the Department of Agricultural and Animal Sciences. She is a member of the AGHYLE research unit and the Agro-Machinism and New Technologies Chair. Her expertise spans soil physics, soil mechanics, and agroecology.

Her research focuses on soil physical properties, hydrology, and agricultural equipment impacts on soil degradation. She supervises student theses and internships in agroecology, soil restoration, and agronomy. Recent publications explore clay soil variability under integrated weed management.
