Carolina Reid is an Associate Professor of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. She serves as the Faculty Research Advisor for the Terner Center for Housing Innovation, focusing on housing policy, community development, and systemic inequalities in urban contexts.

Research Interests
Reid’s work centers on housing affordability, access to credit, and racial disparities in mortgage lending. Her research also explores the impact of rising construction costs in California, the socioeconomic benefits of affordable housing, and the post-recession widening of the racial wealth gap due to lending practices.
