Carolin Fuchs

Carolin Fuchs is a Teaching Professor of German and English at Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). She serves as Coordinator of the German Program and Coordinator of Online Teaching and Learning within CSSH. Her research focuses on technology-enhanced language education, virtual exchanges, and task design. She holds a PhD in English Studies from Justus Liebig University Giessen and an MA in TESOL from Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Her professional contributions include editor roles for the Journal of Virtual Exchange and NYS TESOL Journal, alongside leadership in UNICollaboration. She has taught at institutions including City University of Hong Kong, Teachers College Columbia University, and UC Berkeley. Her scholarly work appears in CALICO, CALL, and TESOL Quarterly.

Active in professional associations like AAAL and EUROCALL, she advocates for innovative language pedagogy. Office hours are held weekly in 420 Meserve Hall.
