Carole VINCENT

Carole Vincent is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Health within the Department of Health Management, Evaluation, and Policy at the University of Montreal. She holds a PhD in Economics from Laval University. She currently serves as Director of Knowledge Mobilization at CIRANO (Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organisations) and Editor-in-Chief of the journal PERSPECTIVES. Her leadership focuses on supporting research, knowledge transfer, and valorization activities within Quebec and Canadian scientific communities and governmental bodies.

Professional Experience:

• Over 25 years of multidisciplinary research collaboration across academic, governmental, and private sectors
• Key roles in strategy implementation for research valorization products including scientific publications, analytical notes, seminars, and conferences
• Prior positions include Director General of the CIQSS (Quebec Inter-University Center for Social Statistics) and roles at Ottawa’s Social Applied Research Society and Montreal’s Institute for Research on Public Policy

Expertise: Public policy analysis, social policy evaluation, health economics, determinants of health, and systems analysis in public health and social sectors. She has advised numerous governmental bodies, including the Quebec Taxation Review Commission and Canada’s Human Resources and Skills Development department.

Affiliations: Member of CIRANO, with expertise in statistical analysis and policy evaluation across economics and social sciences.
