Dr. Carole Edwards is a Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Texas Tech University's Classical & Modern Languages & Literatures department. She serves as Convener of the French section and holds a doctorate from Purdue University with an emphasis on Francophone Studies. Her research focuses on North African, Sub-Saharan, and Caribbean Francophone literature, with notable publications including monographs on Francophone women dramatists and Laurent Gaudé's works. She is a Fulbright alumnus to Morocco and currently explores literary postures in North African authors like Mohamed Nedali.
