Dr. Carol Stalker is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Derby, affiliated with the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care and the School of Psychology. Her teaching focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs, including developmental psychology and research methods. She holds a BSc (2004) and MSc (2006) from the University of Derby, and completed her PhD in 2020 exploring illness acceptance in dialysis patients.
Her research centers on health psychology, particularly psychosocial factors influencing quality of life in chronic illnesses such as coronary heart disease, obesity, and renal conditions.
