Carol Meza

Carol Meza is an Assistant Professor at Pittsburg State University and an Army combat veteran. Her research examines military sexual trauma (MST), gun violence prevention in social work education, and services for undocumented immigrants.

Current projects include revising the CSWE Military Social Work Guide, qualitative studies on immigrant needs and MST therapy preferences, and curriculum development for violence prevention. Honors include the Purple Heart and Folds of Honor scholarship.
