Carol Gee is a Professor of Mathematics and Department Chair at St. Edward's University. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rice University (2004) and a B.S. in Mathematics with a Computer Science concentration from the University of Dallas (1999). Her research focuses on low-dimensional topology, knot theory, and pedagogical innovations such as inquiry-based learning and specifications-based grading.
Academic leadership roles include serving as Department Chair since 2011 and previously as a VIGRE Visiting Research Assistant Professor at UC Davis (2004-2006).
