Carol A. Fletcher

Carol A. Fletcher is an Associate Professor of Sport Management in the Collins College of Professional Studies at St. John's University. With 30 years as an educator, she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the Division of Sport Management, drawing on extensive experience in teaching, athletic administration, and coaching at university, community college, and high school levels.

• Educational background includes a BS in Physical Education from Edinboro University, an MS in Physical Education (Corporate Fitness) from California Polytechnic University, and a Ph.D. in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut.

Her research focuses on coaching leadership, media in sport, curriculum development, and diversity management within sport organizations. She has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences.

Current courses taught include Strategic Communication in Sport (SPG 302/602), Social/Psychological Aspects of Sport (SPG 307/721), Special Topics in Sport (SPG 402), and foundational courses like Current Issues in Sport (SPM 1003) and Sport Communication (SPM 2005).
