Carmen Iniesta Barberá

Carmen Iniesta Barberá is a researcher in Transport Engineering and Infrastructure at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, where she was active from 2019-2023. She was part of the GREEN Nebrija Research Group on Automotive Engineering, contributing to cutting-edge research in sustainable transport technologies and energy recovery systems.

She earned her Doctorate from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in 2020 with a thesis titled "Estudio teórico-experimental de un motor stirling termoacústico compacto para la recuperación de energía" (Theoretical-experimental study of a compact thermoacoustic Stirling engine for energy recovery), supervised by Dr. Jordi Vinolas Prat and Dr. Javier Arancela Aguirre.

Her research focuses on innovative solutions in transport engineering, particularly in sustainable automotive technologies and energy recovery systems. Her doctoral work delved deep into thermoacoustic Stirling engines, exploring their potential for efficient energy recovery in transport applications.

Currently, she continues her work with the GREEN Nebrija Research Group, advancing research in automotive engineering and sustainable transport solutions.
