Carmem Hanneman is an Adjunct Professor of Foreign Languages at Campbell University, specializing in Portuguese, Hebrew, Greek, and Spanish. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and holds a Spanish Linguistics degree from New Mexico State University (2016, with honors). Previously, she served as Director of the Ministerial Training Institute in Falcon, NC (2008–2018), focusing on theological education for Christian ministry candidates. Since 2004, she has volunteered with Hispanic Churches in Falcon, NC, supporting community engagement through language and cultural initiatives.
Her academic background includes a 1993 completion of a Greek language program at Equatorial Theological Faculty (Brazil) and extensive missionary work across Latin America and Europe for 25 years. Hanneman’s research interests emphasize multilingual education, classical language pedagogy, and the intersection of theology with community service.
