Carlos Mariscal is Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Nevada, Reno, specializing in the philosophy of astrobiology and origins of life. A former Herzberg Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University, he holds a PhD from Duke University.
