Carlos Llorente

Carlos Llorente is Professor of Law with appointments at multiple institutions including the University of Navarra, University of Deusto, and University Carlos III of Madrid. He earned his Ph.D. in Law with honors from the University of Navarra, where he received the Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award. His international education includes an LL.M. as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia University in New York.

His professional experience combines academic and legal practice, having worked as an Attorney at Law in Madrid and served as Director of Learning & Development at Baker & McKenzie. His research focuses on International Commercial Law, Shipping and Transport Law, Competition Law, and Comparative Private Law frameworks.
