Carlos Alejandro Ang

Carlos Alejandro Ang is a Professor in Data Science & Technology at Instituto de Empresa (IE University). He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. With 14 years at IBM, he served as Technical Leader of the DB2 Database Support Area in Spain and was part of the European IBM DB2 SWAT team. His expertise spans Data Warehousing, Database Migrations, and Parallel Database Processing, particularly in banking, insurance, and retail sectors. He founded Novalia Software Services, continuing his work on data consolidation projects.

He teaches IBM DB2 official courses at Luzti IBM Learning Services and collaborates with the DB2 Users Group and IBM’s DB2 Marketing Department, delivering seminars on DB2 technologies.
