Carla MacDonald

Carla MacDonald is an Associate Professor of Social Work and Field Education Director at Huntington University, where she has taught since 2005. With over 30 years of experience in social work, counseling, and community service, her research focuses on cultural competence in study abroad programs.

Active in local community organizations, she has served on boards for the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County, United Way of Huntington County, and Place of Grace—a shelter for women transitioning from the criminal justice system.
