Carla Farsi

Carla Farsi is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Colorado specializing in operator algebras and non-commutative differential geometry.

Her research examines commutative and non-commutative orbifolds and their C*-algebras, with contributions to index theorems for orbifolds, characterization of orbifold invariants, and properties of orbifold elliptic operators. Current work focuses on analysis of open orbifolds and orbifolds with boundary.

Farsi has published foundational papers establishing index theorems for orbifolds and characterizing fixed point subalgebras of rotation algebras.
