Carl Skelton

Carl Skelton is a part-time Industry Professor at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where he founded the Brooklyn Experimental Media Center and academic programs in Integrated Digital Media. His interdisciplinary work bridges arts, design, technology, and community engagement.

Current projects include authoring academic texts on urban media culture and multimedia programming. His research has received support from Microsoft Research, Rockefeller Foundation's Cultural Innovation Fund, National Science Foundation, and Canadian arts councils. Pedagogical approaches emphasize innovation at technology-community interfaces.
