Carl Evans is a Lecturer in Operations, Logistics, and Strategic Management at the Plymouth Business School (University of Plymouth). With over 20 years of teaching experience in higher and further education, he specializes in integrating practical insights into teaching to enhance students' employability. He currently leads the MSc Business Management program and teaches modules such as Business Consultancy, Project Management, and Strategy and Business Improvement.
His research and teaching focus on strategic performance measures, balanced scorecard methodologies, inventory management, lean principles, and Total Quality Management (TQM). He emphasizes real-world case studies to contextualize operations and strategic management practices.
