Carey E. Fee

Dr. Carey E. Fee is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Art History at Florida State University, with over two decades of experience teaching art and art history across California, Florida, and Florence, Italy. She specializes in Italian medieval and Renaissance art but has also taught diverse courses including Modern Art and Architecture, Art Appreciation, and Museum Studies.

Dr. Fee’s research focuses on medieval pilgrimage, particularly the role of authentic replicas like Palestine Gardens in Mississippi, and the memory of Etruscan civilization in medieval Tuscany. She empowers students to develop critical thinking and articulate their perspectives on art, aiming to integrate these skills into their broader lives.
