Cara Fuller is an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Athens State University. Originally from East Aurora, New York, she has resided in Huntsville, Alabama since 2006 and is actively engaged in the local arts community through Arts Huntsville.
Her artistic practice centers on documentary photography with a decade-long focus on abandoned cars and urban decay. This work explores themes of memory, transience, and the transformation of American landscapes through the visual narrative of derelict objects. Her photographs capture the interplay between nature and industrial remnants, revealing poetic narratives in forgotten spaces.
As an educator, she contributes to photography pedagogy at Athens State University while maintaining her personal artistic practice.
