Caner Imren is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geophysical Engineering, Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on tectonics, seismic exploration, ground-penetrating radar (GPR) applications, and Pangea-related continental dynamics. He has led projects such as the Investigation of the Ancient City of Perinthos-Heraklia Using Geophysical Methods (2022–2024).
