Candice Delmas is an Associate Professor at Northeastern University, affiliated with the Departments of Philosophy and Religion and Political Science. She is also Director of the Politics, Philosophy, and Economics Program and affiliated with the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and the School of Law's Center for Law, Innovation, and Creativity (CLIC).

Her research focuses on moral, social, political, and legal philosophy, particularly the ethics of civil and uncivil disobedience. She explores political obligation in unjust states, resistance strategies, and the moral permissibility of uncivil tactics.
Recent publications include articles on prison ethics, protest theory, and non-ideal political philosophy. She co-edits volumes on multicultural pedagogy and resistance ethics.
