Candace Lowe

Dr. Candace Lowe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a DVM (2005) and MVetSc (2011) from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College.

Her clinical expertise and research focus on:

• Periodontal disease management
• Innovative dental treatments
• Oral health education methodologies
• Comparative dental pathology across species

She established and leads the veterinary dentistry service at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre. Her publications (2010-2020) address dental pathology surveys, novel treatment approaches, and preventive strategies in both companion and equine patients.
