Can Baskent

Can Baskent is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Middlesex University's Faculty of Science and Technology. He obtained his PhD from the City University of New York and previously held postdoctoral positions at IHPST (Paris) and INRIA (Nancy).

His research focuses on computational logic, game semantics, and formal methods for knowledge representation. Key areas include non-classical logics, truth diagrams, and applications in social computing.

He teaches undergraduate courses including Synoptics and serves as module leader for final-year projects, supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
