Camille Cameron

Camille Cameron served as dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor from 2012 to 2015, bringing international experience from the University of Melbourne where she was previously affiliated. Her leadership emphasized practical legal training and community engagement through clinical programs.

Her research and administrative focus centered on three key areas: advancing Aboriginal law through scholar appointments like Ronald George's Ron Ianni residency; expanding clinical legal education via Community Legal Aid clinics under Marion Overholt; and pioneering technology-law intersections with the Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship Clinic launch in 2014. These initiatives demonstrated her commitment to access to justice and experiential learning.

Under her deanship, Windsor Law established partnerships with the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator to provide free legal services for startups, while strengthening ties with Aboriginal communities through specialized legal programming. She consistently highlighted the faculty's dedication to social justice and hands-on student training throughout her tenure.
