Oscar Camara Rey is a Full Professor at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), where he coordinates the PhySense research group he founded in 2011. He also serves as the coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering degree program at UPF. Prior to his current role, he completed a postdoctoral stay at King's College London and University College London (2004–2007) and holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from UPC (1999) and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Image Processing from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Paris (2000 and 2003, respectively).
