Camara Phyllis Jones

Camara Phyllis Jones is a Leverhulme Visiting Professor at King's College London’s Department of Global Health & Social Medicine, focusing on racism’s impacts on health equity. She holds dual roles as a family physician and epidemiologist, with affiliations at Harvard, Emory, and Morehouse. Her research emphasizes structural racism’s systemic effects, using allegories to communicate complex ideas.

Awards include the Stanford President’s Award (2022) and the Wellesley Alumnae Achievement Award (2018). She chairs King’s Anti Racism Steering Group and has delivered lectures on anti-racism strategies in health systems.
