Caite Canfield is a Lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a M.Arch. from Georgia Tech (2022) and a B.A. in Studio Art & Mathematics from Skidmore College (2019). Her work bridges art, mathematics, and architecture through innovative fabrication techniques and sustainable design.

Research focuses on the intersection of art/mathematics in architectural design, digital fabrication, and sustainable practices. She co-founded the ECO sustainable design studio at Georgia Tech and worked in Tristan Al-Haddad’s Formations Studio on large-scale architectural sculptures.
Awards include national recognitions in jewelry design (Dorothy Dryfoos Olsan Prize) and architectural excellence (Portman Prize). Currently practices with Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects while teaching to inspire creative design thinking.
Lab involvement: Georgia Tech’s Digital Fabrication Lab. Professional roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Ambassador, and SOA Office Representative.
