Caio Pagano is Regents' Professor of Piano at Arizona State University's School of Music, Dance and Theatre, appointed in 1986. An internationally renowned concert pianist, he has performed over 900 concerts across four continents as soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral collaborator with conductors including Sergiu Comissiona and Morton Gould.
His scholarly work centers on 20th-century repertoire, particularly Schoenberg's complete works which he premiered in multiple capitals. Pagano has given 36 world premieres, including 25 compositions dedicated to him, spanning solo works and concertos.
