Cagri Erdem

Çağrı Erdem is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo's Department of Informatics, exploring human-AI co-performance through embodied interaction and machine learning.

Research focuses on:

• Shared control systems in musical performance
• Biosignal interfaces for artistic expression
• Machine learning for motion-sound relationships
• Multimodal interaction design

His publications examine interactive instruments, AI improvisation systems, and cross-modal perception. Current projects include self-playing guitars and Nordic Sound and Music Computing initiatives.

Teaching includes courses on interactive music, sound programming, and machine learning applications in creative computing.
