CSOMA Rózsa

Dr. CSOMA Rózsa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Faculty of Civil Engineering. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on water-utilisation structures, groundwater hydraulics, seepage, and water-damage prevention.

Current Teaching Responsibilities:

• Design of Water Use Structures (BMEEOVVMV61)
• Groundwater (BMEEOVVMV63)
• Water Utilisation and Water Damage Prevention (BMEEOVVA-F1)

Previously she has also delivered courses on Design of Water Damage Prevention Structures (BMEEOVVMV62) and Seepage and Groundwater Hydraulics (BMEEOVVDT81).

Her research interests revolve around hydraulic and water-resources engineering, with particular emphasis on the design and analysis of water-utilisation structures, groundwater flow and seepage mechanics, and modern approaches to water-damage prevention. These themes are directly reflected in the courses she designs and teaches.
