Clara Bernard-Xemard is a Lecturer in Private Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ). She has been authorized to direct research in private law and criminal sciences (section 01 CNU) and serves as co-director of the M2 Judicial Careers program and director of the Institute of Judicial Studies (IEJ) at UVSQ.
- Education: HDR (2012), Doctorate in Law (2000, Panthéon-Assas University Paris II), DEA in General Private Law (1994), Masters in Private Law (1993, University of Angers), Baccalaureate (1989).
Her research focuses on vulnerable people, child and family law from patrimonial and non-patrimonial perspectives, and bioethics law, with applications in health law and new technologies. She is affiliated with the Business Law and New Technologies Laboratory (DANTE) and collaborates with research entities including CESDIP, PRINTEMPS, and VIP.
