Dr. C. Patrick Reynolds is the Director of the Cancer Center at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) and leads the South Plains Oncology Consortium (SPOC). He holds professorial appointments in Pediatrics, Cell Biology & Biochemistry, and Medicine at the TTUHSC School of Medicine, with a focus on neuroblastoma and childhood cancer research.
His research spans cancer developmental therapeutics, patient-derived model development, and telomere biology as a therapeutic target. He chairs the neuroblastoma steering committee for the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and sponsors multiple FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) applications.
Dr. Reynolds has secured active funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Department of Defense, Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT), and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. His lab serves as the Childhood Cancer Repository for COG, supported by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
