Byron Parizek

Byron Parizek is a Professor in the departments of Geosciences and Mathematics at Penn State University. He teaches undergraduate courses in geosciences, mathematics, physics, and computer sciences, as well as graduate courses in geosciences. He is also a member of the geosciences graduate faculty and serves as a Faculty Advisor.

His research focuses on numerical modeling of ice-sheet dynamics and related Earth-system processes. This involves computational geophysics and glacial dynamics to understand climate change impacts and geophysical fluid dynamics.
