Dr. Byron Curtis is a Professor of Biblical Studies with 20 years of professorship at Geneva College. He holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Hermeneutics, a Master of Divinity degree, and a B.A. in Biblical Studies. His expertise spans Old Testament scholarship, New Testament archaeology, history of Christianity, Christian theology, and Reformed theology.

- Service: 20 years at Geneva College, 6 years as pastor in Cary, NC, and 3 years as campus evangelist in Pittsburgh
His research focuses on socio-literary analysis of prophetic texts, dating of biblical books, and theological debates. His publications include studies on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Prophetic Literature, and the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Notable awards include the Excellence in Scholarship (2006-07) and Excellence in Teaching (1996-97) from Geneva College, plus the Faithful Service award (1988) from Peace Presbyterian Church. Curtis is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (1985) and active in campus outreach.
